Aloysius Vespers is the current English Grand Mage. He replaced Palaver Graves before him. He is described as an overfed man with long white hair. Valkyrie says that he is one of the only sorcerers she had ever seen that looked like a wizard, with a long white beard and robes
Biography[]
Vespers became Grand Mage of the British Sanctuary, working under the rule of Supreme Mage China Sorrows. He, like his colleague Gavin Praetor, were desperate to please China in any way possible. She resented them for this.
Vespers is also a supporter of the Church of The Faceless.
