Argus Dolent is a mage who fought for Mevolent in the 300 Year War.
Personality[]
Argus is a weak personality who divulges information readily when he finds his life at stake. According to Billy-Ray Sanguine, Argus is a "lily-livered" sorcerer who runs from every fight.
Biography[]
At one point during the war, Argus provided Baron Vengeous with a safehouse, when he needed somewhere to lay low for a few days. This safehouse was known by the Irish Sanctuary, which Argus hadn't realised. This led directly to the capture of Vengeous by Skulduggery Pleasant.
After Vengeous escapes in 2008, he finds and questions Argus in an old hospital. Since he is wearing the armour of Lord Vile, Argus fails to recognise him. Argus tells Vengeous and Sanguine the location of Kenspeckle Grouse after figuring that's where someone would bring the remains of the Grotesquery.
Argus then asks to be let go but Vengeous reveals to know of his deeds in the war and removes the armor's helmet. Argus is then killed by Vengeous.
