He was the leader of a certain cult, despite not knowing who or what exactly are they worshipping. He has many followers nonetheless, but one of his lackeys sold him out when he was in the middle of astral projecting. As a result, the police claimed that Bubba Moon is dead and disposed of his body, leaving his spirit trapped in the house he resided in.
When Pete Green lay in the circle that was drawn on the floor, Bubba Moon saw his chance and possesed the young boy, controlling him like a puppet. He then proceeded to get his followers back, and also plans a series of events to manipulate Pete's friends. Later, after Skulduggery removed him from Pete, Bubba Moon's consciousness is once again trapped in the mansion. This time, however, he is so weak he can't even possess a passing pidgeon.
