China's Library is a giant library belonging to China Sorrows. China's Library contains many extremely rare or one-of-a-kind books. Her library is also attuned to people's emotions, but more so to hers. She uses this to her advantage in escaping from the Remnants in Mortal Coil. The library was torched by Eliza Scorn in Death Bringer.
History[]
Skulduggery Pleasant[]
After saving Stephanie from Vindick Leather at Grimwood House, Skulduggery visits China’s library to see if she has any information on Serpine, who he suspects was behind the attack. Stephanie makes Skulduggery take her along with him. China says that she has heard that Serpine has been making inquiries about the Sceptre of the Ancients. She also suggests that they think about what Gordon might possible have that he had to die before someone tried to steal it.
After Serpine abducts Skulduggery, Stephanie calls China and she sends a car to take her to her apartment. After a brief talk, China leaves with her assistant, saying she will return later. Stephanie goes across the hallway to China’s library. She meets Tanith Low, who directs her on where she can find books on learning magic for beginners. She finds a book called Elemental Magic and starts to read it. After reading for a while, Stephanie repeatedly tries to move her mobile phone with air to no effect. Tanith sees her and tells her to try something smaller, like the page of a book, and tells Stephanie it takes time when she tries and fails. Tanith gives her a yellow rock and says if she puts that in her next bath, it will heal her bruises. Stephanie sees China’s assistant return and rushes back to the apartment.
After China uses Stephanie’s Taken Name to stop her telling people about Skulduggery’s abduction, which could threaten China’s plan, Stephanie uses a piece of the rock Tanith gave her to heal her bruised elbow in the library’s restroom. She chastises herself for going to China instead of Ghastly of the Elders. She thinks back to what Skulduggery said about her raising Cain, and decides on her Taken Name, before heading to China’s apartment.
Playing with Fire[]
Upon learning tha Baron Vengeous has been freed from prison, Skulduggery and Valkyrie head to China’s Library to ask China if she has heard any rumours about Vengeous recently.
Description[]
The books are arranged quite differently to normal libraries. They are arranged in order of magical ability. Meaning the books on Magic for beginners are at one end, and books on far more advanced magic at the other. It is also mentioned that China's Library is attuned to peoples feelings/emotions and that the stacks of books change accordingly. The library contains a restroom.

China uses the stacks of books to knock people out of the way and make a clear path for her to exit.
