Gavin Praetor is the American Grand Mage, replacing Zafira Kerias before him. He is described as a "trim man with a distinctly feline quality to his movements."
Biography[]
Praetor became Grand Mage of the American Sanctuary under the rule of Supreme Mage China Sorrows. Like the English Grand Mage, Vespers, Praetor is desperate to please China, which gets on her nerves.
Praetor also has a low opinion of the American President Martin Flanery, calling him "A boorish man. Arrogant. Narcissistic. Greedy for money and power." However, he uses this to his advantage in order to control the President.
