Mevolent's dimension, also known as the Leibniz Dimension or Dimension X, is an alternate dimenision that has followed the same timeline as Skulduggery Pleasant's dimension up to a certain point in the past. It is unknown how much has changed but it is shown that Mevolent is not only alive but has achieved victory in the war, with his palace replacing Ireland's Sanctuary. Mevolent's victory is most likely because in this dimension Skulduggery is still Lord Vile.
History[]
The Purges[]
Mevolent takes control of the dimension and starts his Purges. Those who refused to bow down to him were ultimately killed, and the warlocks have been virtually extinct due to that. Shortly after that,China Sorrows led the revolution against Mevolent. Other members of this revolution included Dexter Vex, Anton Shudder, and Ghastly Bespoke. Their main concern is not to protect the mortals, but to overthrow Mevolent.
Contact with Skulduggery Pleasant's Dimension[]
Valkyrie repeatedly shifted between this dimension and her own because of the echoing shunt the Dimensional Shunter, Silas Nadir cast on her. Through her few visits, it is revealed that the mortals are terrified of sorcerers in general, and it is as though mortal technology has stopped improving sometime ago, giving the place an old time-y feel. Also, brown seems to be the only color available for garments.
Downfall of the Resistance[]
On Valkyrie's last visit, Mevolent managed to hunt down the The Resistance. They were defeated when China Sorrows lost control of the only weapon capable of defeating him: The Sceptre of the Ancients. China was then killed by Neferian Serpine. This was known as The Battle of Ratoath.
After this, Serpine took control of the Resistance and possibly murdered dimension's version of Anton Shudder, he later rescued Valkyrie from Professor Nye after she was captured following a confrontation between Mevolent, Lord Vile, Darquesse, Baron Vengeous, Skulduggery and Erskine Ravel.
With Serpine and Emmertt Pergine, Valkyrie was able to take the the Magic-Sucker from Mevolent and rescue Erskine and Skulduggery from torture, after attempting to steal the gun from The Resistance, after been caught,Serpine warned the three to never encounter The Resistance again,or be killed on sight.

The Palace in which Mevolent lives. It is here that his guards are ordered to kill him every day and assist his rebirth, in order for him to master death. It is also where the God-Killer sword and Sceptre of the Ancients are kept.
Ratoath[]
A town in the county of Meath, where The Battle of Ratoath took place.
The Temple of the Spider[]
A temple where The Children of the Spider practice their beliefs, mentioned in the final book.
Dublin-Within-the-Wall[]
The alternate reality's version of Dublin, where the Mevolent's Palace is located and where most of the sorcerers and followers of the Faceless Ones live. The city's actual name is unknown, but during her dimensional jaunts, Dublin-Within-the-Wall is how Valkyrie referred to it.
Trivia[]
- This is the 2nd alternative dimension to feature in the series, the first being the The Faceless Ones Dimension.
- It is not confirmed whether this dimension branched off from the Skulduggery Pleasant's Dimension or ran parallel to it from the start. This implication would mean that at least two races of faceless ones exist in the multiverse if this dimension didn't branch off from the prime universe.
- At least two or more members of The Diablerie are alive in this dimension, as they were referred to in present tense by Mevolent in Kingdom of the Wicked and have not been mentioned since.
- Out of The Dead Men in this dimension, the status of Dexter Vex, Hopeless, Erskine Ravel and Saracen Rue remain unknown. Out of these three, Dexter Vex was last seen loosing an arm to a redhood in the costly battle for The Resistance and is most likely is dead. Hopeless may have shared the fate of the main dimension counterpart. Saracen Rue's fate is a mystery, but would have mostly have stuck with Dexter and Ghastly if he was alive. Erskine Ravel's may have been tortured to death in this timeline,if The Torment never been able to rescue him or was handed to Mevolent's forces by The Children of the Spider.
