|Given Name||Myron Stray|
Taken Name Myron Stray, True Name Laudigan was a sorcerer who appeared in the fourth book, as well as participated in the War. He was a information broker, just like China Sorrows. His true name was Laudigan, which in the past people used to control him. It is unknown what type of magic he used.
Skulduggery Pleasant said that during the war Myron and Mr. Bliss used to fight. One day at a pub in Belfast they were meant to be planning how to take down Mevolent. Myron was taunting Mr Bliss, who in response simply said "Laudigan, leave". Unable to disobey the command, Myron did as he was told. After this, Myron's life fell apart, as his True Name was now public knowledge. His wife left him and he could no longer work as an information broker, since anyone could force him to speak at their will. It is unknown how Mr Bliss found out Myron's True Name, but people learned the extent to which Bliss was willing to go if anyone upset him.
Skulduggery and Valkyrie go to visit Myron since China is recovering from a bullet wound. Valkyrie asks him for information on Dreylan Scarab. When he refuses, Valkyrie threatens to use his True Name against him. When she questions why he didn't seal his True Name, he says that it was too late by then and that he would have had to seal it before it was used. Myron tells them that Scarab may be using Nefarian Serpine's old castle as a base.
After Scarab is arrested and Thurid Guild turns himself in, Davina Marr uses Myron's true name to control him. She makes him walk into The Irish Sanctuary with the second Desolation Engine and set it off, blowing the facility up. She orders him not to tell anyone what he is doing and to puncture his ear drums, so no one can use his True Name to stop him. He was not told to have no fear, so he walked in with full knowledge and horror at what he was doing. Myron dies immediately in the blast.
