At the time he was looking for his son that was being used as leverage for his ex-wife. The Mortal American President Martin Flanery was using Guile's ex-wife, Magenta, as a tool to influence people. As Oberon bursts into the home where his son was supposedly kept, he frantically looks for his son. After an unsuccessful search, Oberon is then tasked with interrogating the group’s commander.
After successfully obtaining information from the commander, Valkyrie Cain assigns Tanith Low to accompany Oberon Guile. Of course for this happen, Valkyrie uses Oberon‘s body features to push Tanith into helping Oberon.
Oberon is somehow able to get past the seven-as-one, 7 beings with linked telepathic capabilities used normally for security purposes, as their abilities allow them to easily sense un-authorized beings, nearby. Oberon finds his wife and son and saves them both.

Oberon is mentioned to be dating Tanith. He also later appears in Corrival Academy, and tells Omen about the Obsidian Blade.
