A Rider is a creature that has only appeared in Dark Days. Riders are most likely controlled by the Faceless Ones. They are creatures of The Faceless Ones' universe and flies a winged beast. Skulduggery and Valkyrie are chased by them in the Faceless Ones' reality.

Dark Days
Riders are known to Skulduggery as the Faceless One’s "Pets". He told Valkyrie of them as they were searching for the portal that would bring him back to the real world, that China Sorrows said would open in an hour after Fletcher first opened it to let Valkyrie into the dimension to save Skulduggery Pleasant. That happened when they were pursued by a group of Riders as they attempted to capture them and bring them back to the Faceless One that had inhabited Batu’s body.
Description
Riders have yellow skin, primitive tattoos, wear leathers and furs, and wield weapons, such as swords, daggers, and spears.
