Biography[]

History[]

When Serafina's husband Mevolent was murdered, she believed it was one of her former handmaidens, a woman named Solace, who had killed him. Serafina went to China Sorrows and demanded to know where to find Solace, but China revealed that it was actually Solace's lover, Caisson, who had killed Mevolent. Serafina captured Caisson and he spent the next few hundred years being experimented on by Serafina's people until he was taken by Cadaverous Gant. In attempt to get Caisson back in Bedlam, it is revealed by China Sorrows that Serafina's attempt to recover Caisson is through meeting the Supreme Mage herself in Roarhaven.

Where Serafina has been hiding or what she's been doing since the war is still not known.

In Bedlam, Aurnia reveals that Serafina died long before her birth in the Leibniz Universe.

Personality[]

It is said that Serafina has a long memory, and that she loves to torture. She is an intelligent and educated woman, who wants to revenge the death of her husband Mevolent.

Appearance[]

Glorious. Tall, solid and strong. Blonde hair. Has a thing for bone jewellery.

Affiliations[]

Serafina Dey is head of The Legion of Judgement, which differs from Arch-Canon Damocles Creed's branch of disciples. It is a different branch of Faceless Ones Disciples that view Mevolent as their messiah, and that his interpretations of his teachings are the true way.

Relationships[]

Mevolent - Serafina truly loved her husband and in her grief for her loss, she centred all of her attention in finding and torturing Caisson, the killer of her love. In Seasons of War Valkyrie discover that the Mevolent of Dimension X has been talking with Serafina by a radio phone. Later she is reunited with him and she sacrificed herself because she didn't want Mevolent to be imprisoned. She said that he deserved this world and she wanted to give it to him.

China Sorrows - Serafina appears to have a close relationship with China, albeit she and China have a fashion rivalry.

Abyssinia - Serafina and her siblings did not have a good relationship with Abyssinia. When it is discovered that Mevolent had a one night thing and a son with Abyssinia. Serafina was willing to kill her.

Caisson - Serafina persecuted and tortured Caisson for years to have vengeance for her husband death.

Damocles Creed - Damocles is Serafina older brother. He is the oldest of The Unveiled siblings. While Serafina thinks that the teachings of her spouse Mevolent are the correct way. Creed is the only one of his siblings that doesn't respect Mevolent as his Messiah. Serafina and Creed rule the Dark cathedral and the Legion of judgement. In Season of War, Damocles threatens with cut Serafina's throat if Mevolent doesn't step into the Eternity Gate. Serafina calls him a coward, so she clearly does not view him in a high esteem.

Rune - Rune is the younger sister of Serafina. She is the first in the body guard of Serafina. They have a good relationship and Rune sees Mevolent as her Messiah.

Kierre - She is Serafina little sister, the youngest of The Unveiled siblings. They have a good relationship, and Serafina, Strosivadian , and Rune are always looking out for her.

Though Serafina Dey has many supporters and many people whom hate her, it appears that Serafina doesn't care, her carelessness going even as far as blowing a kiss to protestors outside the Circle.
